DABANGG

Dabangg - The movie is of Salman, for Salman and by Salman. It is made to not make any sense but provide sheer entertainment to the audience in every single frame. Chulbul Pandey or Robinhood Pandey as he calls himself takes charge right from the first scene and only impresses the fans more and more. Salman has given a wonderful performance just because he has been completely himself in the movie. He is stylish yet raw which makes him acceptable. Sonakshi Sinha is impressive in her debut. She carries herself well in every shot. She is namkeen types. The movie is a good entertainer. Rating 3

Once Upon a Time in MUMBAI

Once upon a time in Mumbai - A must watch. Its a very well written and directed movie on the life of a gangster. The writer has been able to strike a right balance between reality and fiction. The dialouges are very effective and apt for the characters. The 70x era has been rightfully recreated. Ajay Devgan pours his sweat and blood to build the character of Haji Mastan. Imaran Hasmi is effective in portraying ambitious short tempered goon trying to achieve too much too soon on his own terms. The music is melodious with some feet tapping numbers. Overall its a simple yet stylish movie. Rating 4.

ROBOT

ROBOT

What a movie? Its a less of a movie and more of a source code overflow. The movie is an overkill of technology and overdose of special effects. Rajni disappoints the audience as there are no special flicks, dialog, mannerisms or style. The entire styling is for the ROBOT which is evidently animated. I am not sure what Shankar was upto but there is clearly a gap between the requirements and the final product delivered. The ending scenes in the movie are utterly senseless and you can see so many people leaving the theater. Good decision!!

So please do not watch the movie even if someone else is sponsoring. Rating: 0.5

They say people age with time and so does the brain. Good luck Rajni!!
