No One Killed Jessica

A powerful movie which demonstrates the power of democracy...of the people...by the people....for the people...Justice is denied when the people with power and influence abuse it to such an extend that the Indian judicial system is left to the mockery. Hence an aptly titled No One Killed Jessica....because that what gets proved...and the Lal family has to live with it. That is where the aggressive media person thinks of this as an opportunity to do the right thing for a right cause and correct the mistakes of the past. The movie is very subtle in its storyline and execution which is very impactful. Vidya Balan steals the show by portraying Sabrina in a very low profile and by her underplay. Right from her body language with drooping shoulders, getup with larger than face spectacles. and facial expressions she plays it strong and hurt. Rest of the cast is fine and does a good job. Overall he movie is very crisp and compels you to think. Rating 3.5
